Jason Lurie started advising clients in 1983. He ran a successful financial planning partnership for 20 years before joining Evans Hart in September 2023.
Jason specialises in pensions, cash flow forecasting, group and employee benefits, estate planning and bereavement financial planning.
Jason’s school days were spent at Carmel College in Wallingford, then Kingston College. He graduated from the University of Surrey with a first class honours degree in chemistry in 1983.
Jason is a regular attendee at the CISI Annual conference, as well as a member of the PFS, attending their events online and in person. Jason has helped a wide range of clients, from helping people achieve financial confidence after a divorce, to advising clients after the sale of a business. He has great experience and is always happy to help.
Jason lives in Weybridge and has two teenage children, Maya, and Adam. He has travelled around the world, even finding time to live in Israel for a year before university. He lived and worked in Australia as part of his degree.
His main hobby is golf and he’s a member of the very friendly Surbiton Golf Club. In quieter moments, Jason reads and listens to music.

Simon Ainley started advising clients in 1986 and after running a successful financial planning partnership for 33 years, joined Evans Hart in September 2023.
Simon specialises in pensions and investment management, portfolio design and estate planning. He started his education at Sale Boys Grammar School and graduated from Keele University in 1984 with a degree in politics.
Simon and his wife Caroline, a consultant paediatrician at St Thomas’s Hospital, have 2 grown up children. He loves travelling and has spent time in India and South East Asia. Simon competes in marathons and triathlons and has climbed Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.
In July 2011, Simon completed the John O’Groats to Lands’ End cycle ride. The trip was 1,006 miles, took 10 days and raised money for Marie Curie. More sedate pursuits include cooking, gardening and watching rugby.
Chartered Financial Planner and Wealth Manager
Luke Smith joined Evans Hart in 2023 and is an integral member of the Kingston team – he is always willing to help, whether with a client query or an IT glitch. He knows our back-office system like the back of his hand and is a quick and keen learner.
Luke has passed several exams, achieved several CISI qualifications and is still diligently studying for more exams.
Luke is a passionate supporter of Chelsea Football Club (often the source of many an interesting discussion on a Monday morning). Luke has followed in the family footsteps with his support as his grandad was also a keen fan!
Paraplanner / Client Service Administrator
Kit Penny worked for many years in administrative and back-office support for a number of blue-chip investment banks and professional service companies. She joined Evans Hart in 2023.
Kit has lived and worked in London, Hong Kong and The Netherlands.
Kit has a great attention to detail. She works on all aspects of our client service, from writing reports and putting together client information to research. Kit is incredibly organised and we are lucky to have her on the team.
In her spare time Kit can be found walking in the park with her beloved dog.
Paraplanner / Client Service Administrator
Jackie Eastes joined Evans Hart in 2023. Jackie lives locally and cycles to work through Bushy Park, weather permitting!
Jackie is responsible for processing client invoices, all aspects of financial accounting and for ensuring the clients have a great client experience.
In her spare time, Jackie enjoys horse riding and cycling.
Client Service Administrator
Gunpreet Singh achieved a Distinction for his Masters in Accounting & Finance at Kingston University Business School. He is now studying financial planning exams, as his goal is to pursue a career in Financial Planning.
Since joining, Gunpreet has attended many networking events, from Netwalking to Breakfast Meetings. His enthusiasm is infectious.
Gunpreet has a keen interest in learning as much about the UK as possible, and often spends weekends visiting new cities. He is an avid footballer, and there are often animated debates between Gunpreet and Luke! Over the next year, Gunpreet intends to learn to cook, and has been spoiling us in the office with a fine selection of Indian biscuits.
