Senior Management

Stephen Evans grew up in the Lake District. He studied economics at Nottingham University and qualified as a Certified Accountant. Stephen worked for several international companies in the Middle East and Europe for 7 years.

Stephen founded Evans Hart Ltd as an Independent Financial Adviser in 1987. He and colleagues grew the business largely by buying-out other firms where the adviser wished to retire or wind-down.

Stephen is a keen mountaineer and has climbed the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. He is currently learning to fly a light aircraft.

Judith joined Evans Hart in September 1998, initially as an administrator working closely with Stephen and realised, she wished to progress her career to become a Financial Adviser. She then took the relevant exams and ultimately earned both a Diploma in Financial Planning and a Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management. Judith became a Director of Evans Hart in July 2010.

Judith strives to deliver the best advice possible and makes sure to ascertain all her client's unique needs and objectives whether this be pre- or post-retirement providing advice on many product types to fit each client.

Outside of the office, Judith enjoys pilates and tennis, even if she feels her tennis skills might not necessarily be the best.

Jeanette joined the Evans Hart team in 2006, bringing with her extensive experience from the financial services industry. She became a Director of Evans Hart in 2010.

In her capacity as Financial Adviser, Jeanette offers guidance to her clients, spanning a wide range of financial products. Her expertise covers comprehensive financial planning both pre- and post-retirement, investment strategies and protection solutions.

Outside of the office, Jeanette enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She cherishes the moments of leisure and relaxation that life affords.

Matt began his career in financial services in 1998 and joined Evans Hart as a Financial Planner in 2012. He was asked to join the Senior Management Committee in 2019. Matt is a proponent of lifetime cashflow planning, believing this to be the most powerful tool available to advisers in helping clients achieve their objectives. A firm believer in empowering people with the knowledge they need to make fully informed decisions, Matt has a wealth of experience guiding clients from the early days of saving and wealth accumulation, up to and through retirement and financial independence, and later life and estate planning. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and long walks with the dog, attending gigs and concerts, and supporting his local football team.

Richard is a member of the Senior Management Committee and Director of Business Development. He joined Evans Hart in 2014 and has been in financial services since the mid 80's. Richard has been advising clients since 2001 and enjoys a relaxed and conversational approach with clients.

Outside of work, Richard likes to spend time with friends and family, playing golf or trying to convince Jacqui, his wife, to let him learn to fly a Gilder when they are out walking near their home in Liphook.

Katherine joined Evans Hart in March 2021, having worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. She provides support for advisers within the London office and ensures that clients receive excellent service. In her role as Business Development Manager, Katherine also works with new business acquisitions to provide a seamless transition to joining the Evans Hart family.

In her spare time, Katherine can be found weeding her allotment in the pursuit of giant pumpkins, enjoying music festivals whilst camping in the great outdoors and spending time with her two adult sons.
